Two young athletes from Mykolaiv conquered the "Children's Judo League" in Odesa
Young judokas won two gold medals
29 March 2026 in Odesa the tournament “Children’s Judo League” took place, at which pupils of Mykolaiv’s Youth Sports School of Martial Arts demonstrated a result that once again confirmed the level of the local wrestling school.
The winners of the competition were Viktoriya Kizilova and Vadym Bobrov, who won gold medals in their categories. For the Mykolaiv judo school such results are not accidental: previously athletes of the city Youth Sports School of Martial Arts had repeatedly brought home medals from tournaments in Odesa, in particular from the “Southern League” series. In March 2025 Mykolaiv judokas won 10 medals there, and in April 2025 among the winners of such competitions was already Kizilova V. The young champions were prepared for the tournament by coaches Yevhen Deinega and Viktor Kizilov. In a message from the city sports department the athletes and their mentors were congratulated on their successful performance.
We congratulate the young athletes and their coaches on the new success and another “golden” performance for Mykolaiv.
