36 settlements in the Kherson region came under fire in 24 hours: a 62-year-old man was killed, five were wounded

Over the past day, Russian forces shelled 36 settlements in the Kherson region, wounding at least 5 people; this was reported on 31 March by the head of the regional military administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.

According to the head of the RMA, residential neighborhoods and critical and social infrastructure facilities were struck. At least 4 multi-storey apartment buildings, 6 private homesteads, as well as an administrative building and vehicles were damaged. Source: a post by Oleksandr Prokudin dated 31 March.

Parts of the Kherson city community were also under heavy fire. The head of the city military administration, Yaroslav Shanko, reported that Kherson, Prydniprovske, Antonivka, Sadove and Inzhenerne were shelled, where housing destruction and vehicle damage were recorded. In addition, on 30 March Russian forces hit the village of Romashkove with artillery fire. As a result of the strike, a 62-year-old man who was at home during the shelling was killed, the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office reports.
