Ukrtransbezpeka in the Mykolaiv region fined two truck drivers for carrying an oversized load

The overload reached 36.81%; one of the drivers did not provide printouts from the verified tachograph

During a raid inspection on the roads of Mykolaiv region, inspectors of Ukrtransbezpeka stopped two trucks showing signs of overloading and fined the drivers.

The vehicles were directed to the nearest DVK checkpoint for official weighing, where violations of dimensional and weight standards by both vehicles were confirmed.

As a result of the control, the DAF vehicle was recorded to exceed the allowable mass by 24.64%: 52.35 t with a norm of 42 t. In addition, the driver did not provide a printout of a working and verified tachograph. Fines assessed: UAH 34,000 for overloading and UAH 17,000 for missing documents.

In the case of the MAN, the excess mass amounted to 36.81%: 60.2 t against the permissible 44 t. The fine — UAH 51,000.

The agency emphasized the importance of complying with weight limits to preserve road surfaces and enhance traffic safety.
