"Diia" shows parking fines online, but not yet in Mykolaiv
Drivers can quickly view assessed fines directly on their smartphone without paper notifications
Parking fines in Ukraine are now available online in the Diia app: the service’s press office and the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Ihor Klymenko, reported the launch of the feature; currently the capability is operating in Lviv, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, Dnipro, Drohobych, Bila Tserkva and Vinnytsia.
The app automatically pulls data from the relevant registry and immediately notifies the user of an imposed fine, so drivers no longer need to wait for paper notices.
Previously, digital services only displayed traffic violations recorded by cameras or issued by patrol officers, which meant parking inspectors’ rulings and payment deadlines often went unnoticed by drivers.
To ensure the information appears correctly and on time, the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ team, together with territorial communities and specialists from SE «Infotech», carried out the necessary technical adjustments.
The service has already been launched in the mentioned cities, and other communities will be connected in the future, after which parking fine notifications will also automatically appear in Diia.
