The whole region couldn't sleep: the Mykolaiv region was again attacked at night by missiles and drones

According to the Mykolaiv OVA, as of the morning of 24 March 2026 the region recorded another massive combined attack by Russian forces. During the night and early morning the enemy carried out a missile-and-drone strike on the territory of the Mykolaiv region. During the air attack, air defense forces were engaged in combat operations. At this time no information has been received about casualties or damage.

Separately, the regional military administration reported on the situation in the Mykolaiv district. Over the past day Russian forces struck the five times with FPV drones against the Ochakiv community. As a result of these attacks, no people were injured.

In addition, over the past day in the sky above the Mykolaiv region air defense forces and assets destroyed/suppressed 15 strike UAVs of the Shahed 131/136 type and various types of drone imitators.
