Klitschko’s resignation demanded in Kyiv: a large-scale protest continues outside the Kyiv City State Administration building
Participants complain about winter preparations, transportation, and the destruction of recreational areas
On Saturday, October 17, a large-scale rally is underway near the Kyiv City State Administration (KCSA) building in Kyiv. Participants are demanding the resignation of Mayor Vitalii Klitschko.
Protesters say life in the capital has become impossible. They cite inadequate preparations for winter, transport problems, the destruction of recreational areas, and other issues as reasons for their dissatisfaction.
The rally was announced by veteran Dmytro Koziatynskyi. He explained that he decided to organize the protest because, in his view, the mayor had failed to ensure adequate preparations for the capital ahead of winter.
Koziatynskyi was also one of the organizers of protests against Mykhailo Fedorov’s dismissal as Minister of Defense.
Ukrainian Radio is livestreaming today’s rally.
