About 2,200 families will be able to receive compensation for destroyed housing
Ukraine received 50 million euros for payments under the eRecovery program
About 2,200 families who were left without housing during the war will be able to receive compensation under the “eRecovery” program. For these payments Ukraine received €50 million from the Council of Europe Development Bank and the Government of Italy. According to Telegram @Koretskyi_official.
The receipt of the funds was reported by the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Serhiy Koretskyi. He clarified that the financing is intended specifically for compensation for destroyed housing.
The funds received are part of additional financing for the HOME project. The Prime Minister explained when the partners agreed to this support:
“This is the first tranche of an additional €100 million within the HOME project, which was agreed with partners during URC-2026 in Gdańsk,” wrote Serhiy Koretskyi.
Previous funding was already used for housing certificates: according to the head of government, thanks to the earlier-received €200 million, more than 6,000 such certificates were financed in Ukraine.
In Mykolaiv, throughout the entire period of the “eRecovery” program, 5,863 applications for compensation for damaged property were submitted. Almost all applications have already been reviewed, and the total amount of approved compensations is UAH 179.4 million.
