BMW X5 overturned in Mykolaiv region: driver killed, passenger injured
The accident occurred near Olshanske, not far from the railway crossing
On the night of October 1, at around 02:30, a BMW X5 overturned near the village of Olshanske in Mykolaiv Raion. Its 36-year-old driver died at the scene, and a passenger of the same age was taken to a medical facility with injuries. This was reported by the Mykolaiv Oblast Police.
The accident occurred on the T-1502 «Veselynove — Kovalivka» road. According to the police, near a railway crossing the crossover SUV driven by a 36-year-old man left the roadway and overturned.
Investigators have provisionally classified the incident under part 2 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — violation of traffic safety rules or vehicle operation by persons driving vehicles, which caused the death of the victim. Police are clarifying the causes and circumstances of the crash.
