Drone attack killed a man in Mykolaiv region: State Emergency Service report
Rescuers extinguished a tractor and prevented the buildings from catching fire
During September 30 and into the morning of October 1, Russian forces attacked the Mykolaiv region with strike drones. In the Vesnyanska community of Mykolaiv district, a 50-year-old man died as a result of the attack. The State Emergency Service of Mykolaiv region reported on the consequences of the strikes and other fires.
In the Vesnyanska community a tractor in a field also caught fire. Rescuers extinguished this fire.
Another strike in the Mykolaiv district caused a farm outbuilding and dry grass to catch fire. Firefighters managed to protect residential and utility buildings from the flames.
Besides the consequences of the attacks, rescuers extinguished 6 fires of dry vegetation in open areas. These fires were not related to hostilities.
Firefighters also extinguished fires at 2 more sites:
- In the village of Dobre, Bashtanka district — a residential house, where the fire area was 50 sq. m.
- In Mykolaiv — a passenger car that caught fire on the premises of a private household.
