A solar power station costing UAH 3.4 million is expected to provide backup power to the Mykolaiv lyceum

For Mykolaiv Lyceum No. 55, located on Namyv, a hybrid solar power plant costing 3.4 million hryvnias is planned to be installed. It will generate electricity and provide the institution with backup power.

The Department of Capital Construction of the Mykolaiv City Council announced the corresponding tender in the system Prozorro. The contractor must supply the equipment, install and connect it, check the system’s operation and commission it.

The following equipment is planned for the power plant:

• 90 solar panels with a capacity of 620 W each;
• 1 hybrid inverter;
• 20 battery modules.

The total installed capacity of the solar panels will be about 55.8 kW. All equipment must operate as a single backup power system.

After completion of the work, the contractor must also train the lyceum staff to use the system. The equipment must be new, and the warranty on it must be at least 5 years. A warranty period of 3 years is provided for installation, connection and configuration.

The hybrid solar power plant must be installed and commissioned by 15 November 2026.
