Nighttime electricity is twice as cheap: 8,887 new meters installed in Mykolaiv Oblast

Since the beginning of 2026, 8,887 single-phase two-tariff meters have been installed in Mykolaiv Oblast. According to JSC “Mykolaivoblenergo”, the devices are being installed as part of the investment program, and consumers do not pay for this service.

The new meters allow use of a two-zone tariff: from 23:00 to 07:00 electricity costs half as much. The devices also automatically transmit readings, so consumers do not need to submit them monthly themselves.

Overall, thanks to the investment program, residents of Mykolaiv Oblast have already had more than 70,000 modern meters installed. The upgrade of metering devices continues: its goal is to make electricity use more convenient for consumers.
