A Russian drone hit a multi-story building in Kyiv: a 14-year-old boy was killed

Today, on Friday, September 25, a Russian drone struck a residential high-rise in the Pecherskyi district of Kyiv. A 14‑year‑old boy was killed, and at least seven people were wounded.

According to the National Police of Ukraine, the strike occurred at about 08:00. The UAV hit a 16‑story building at the level of the 10th–11th floors.

The mayor of the capital, Vitali Klitschko, earlier gave slightly different figures — a hit at the level of the 7th–10th floors. The final number of casualties is still being clarified. Rescuers from the State Emergency Service (DSNS), medics, explosive ordnance disposal teams and police investigative-operational groups arrived at the building to document the consequences of the Russian attack.
