The mother‑in‑law of the former Prosecutor General of Ukraine Ruslan Kravchenko — Alina Shkrobanets — in July 2023 invested about $670,000 in the construction of a villa in Dubai. This is stated in an investigation by the “Schemes” project of Radio Liberty, which is based on data from the Dubai real estate registry.
The villa, with an area of over 143 square meters, is located in the Mykonos cluster of the elite residential complex Damac Lagoons. The deal is dated 20 July 2023. The value of the property at that time was approximately UAH 24.5 million at the official exchange rate of the National Bank of Ukraine.
Journalists obtained the information from a leak of the Dubai Land Department database during cooperation with OCCRP. At the time of the investment, Ruslan Kravchenko was head of the Kyiv Oblast Military Administration.
In 2024 Kravchenko divorced Olena Shkrobanets. Later the owner of the villa became Ukrainian restaurateur Andriy Keybash, who runs the Kyiv restaurant La Veranda. The Dubai registry records the transfer of ownership in 2025.
Andriy Keybash confirmed to journalists that he purchased the villa that year for almost $670,000. According to him, he found the offer online and did not buy the property directly from Alina Shkrobanets. At the same time, the restaurateur did not say who exactly sold him the property.
Journalists found videos on the official page of the La Veranda restaurant in which Alina Shkrobanets visits the venue with her family. Andriy Keybash also appears in one of the recordings. In another video filmed during the same period, Ruslan Kravchenko was seen in the company of Ihor Shkrobanets.
Alina Shkrobanets, in a comment to “Schemes”, denied purchasing property in the United Arab Emirates. She suggested that her personal data could have been used without her knowledge. The woman confirmed acquaintance with Andriy Keybash, but said she had not discussed buying property with him.
The former husband of Alina Shkrobanets, a deputy of the Chernivtsi Oblast Council, Ihor Shkrobanets, also said he knew nothing about her purchase of property in the UAE. He did not rule out possible use of her personal data. Olena Shkrobanets, the ex‑wife of Ruslan Kravchenko, replied that she was not aware of the Dubai villa. At the time the “Schemes” investigation was published, journalists tried to obtain comment from Ruslan Kravchenko himself.
