Two children were left without a father: defender Anatoliy Bilousov was buried in Mykolaiv

Returned from abroad to defend Ukraine: in Korabelnyi they buried commander Anatoliy Bilousov

9 September 2026 in Mykolaiv the defender of Ukraine Anatoliy Dmytrovych Bilousov was laid to rest. The soldier was buried in the Alley of Glory of the Balabanivske Cemetery in the Korabelnyi district.

Family, servicemen and concerned townspeople came to say farewell. People brought flowers and bowed over the coffin covered with the national flag of Ukraine. A requiem prayer was held at the burial site.

Anatoliy Bilousov was born on 28 October 1992. The burial cross plate lists the date of his death as 10 June 2026. The defender was 33 years old.

According to those present at the farewell, Anatoliy had been abroad but returned to Ukraine and took up its defense from the very beginning of the war. He was a commander. He is survived by two children. As was said during the farewell, his younger son has started first grade.

In the farewell speech Anatoliy was remembered as a courageous and brave commander, a loving father, husband, son and brother. Speakers talked about the memory that will remain after him:

“He has departed from earthly life, but he is passing to the heavenly host, to the army of the guardian angel.”

During the ceremony it was emphasized that the defender remained true to his convictions, to the Ukrainian people and to Ukraine, giving the most precious thing — his own life. The farewell address ended with the words:

“He gave his life. We will not forget, we will remember — may his memory be bright and eternal.”
