Hostile attacks caused fires at an agricultural enterprise and a summer kitchen in the Mykolaiv region
All circumstances and consequences are set out in the official statement
27 August and in the night of 28 August five fires were recorded in Mykolaiv Oblast, two of which resulted from hostilities.
Due to drone strikes in the Snihurivka community, a warehouse facility of an agricultural enterprise caught fire.
In the village of Oleksandrivka of Horokhivska community, as a result of an enemy attack the roof of a summer kitchen and a passenger car burned. A residential house and one more vehicle were also damaged.
Another two fires occurred on the premises of private homesteads. In the villages of Sofiivka of Myhiivska community, Pervomaiskyi district, and Tsvitkove of Prybuzka community, Voznesenskyi district, stacks of hay with the 2026 harvest burned. The area of each fire was 50 sq. m.
In Nova Odesa rescuers also extinguished fires in dry grass and rubbish.
State Emergency Service units responded to all reports. In total, the Service deployed 12 rescuers and 4 units of special equipment, as well as local fire protection units from the villages of Sofiivka and Horokhivka.
