Ukraine returned 10 servicemen from captivity who had been considered missing

Ukraine, during a special stage of a prisoner exchange, returned from captivity 10 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Guard of Ukraine. This was reported by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.

The freed servicemen returned via Belarus. All of them had taken part in the country’s defense on the Donetsk front, and before the exchange they were considered missing.

Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized that the release of these servicemen is of special significance, since for a long time it was not known what had happened to them. The President thanked everyone working on the return of Ukrainians from captivity and noted that the operation to free those who are still in captivity continues.

“We are searching for every name. And we will do everything to free them and bring them home,” — said Volodymyr Zelensky.

It was previously reported that Ukraine and Russia carried out a new prisoner exchange, in which 160 servicemen were released.
