103 Ukrainian defenders are returning from Russian captivity
Among those released are military personnel who defended Mariupol and fought on eight fronts
103 Ukrainian defenders are returning to Ukraine from Russian captivity. This was reported by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky.
Among the released are servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the State Border Guard Service and the National Guard of Ukraine.
In particular, soldiers who defended Mariupol are returning home, as well as Ukrainian servicemen who fought on the Donetsk, Luhansk, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Dnipro and Sumy fronts.
Volodymyr Zelensky thanked the Ukrainian soldiers who replenish the exchange pool and, thanks to their courage, help return citizens from captivity. The president separately praised the team that works daily to free people.
“We remember every man and woman who still remain in captivity. We are doing everything possible to bring all our people home,” emphasized the head of state.
It is also reported that 10 fighters from the Mykolaiv brigade returned from captivity.
