Oleksandr Senkevych attended the awards ceremony for City Day in Ternopil

In Ternopil from August 14 to 16 events were held on the occasion of City Day. The program included concerts, festivals and sporting events. One of the official ceremonies was attended by the mayor of Mykolaiv, Oleksandr Sienkevych.

Photos featuring him were published by the Ternopil City Council. In the pictures, the mayor of Mykolaiv is present during the ceremonial awarding of residents of the Ternopil community, organized on the occasion of City Day.

Ternopil’s mayor Serhii Nadal presented distinctions, letters of thanks and valuable gifts to servicemen, volunteers, representatives of public organizations, as well as employees of municipal enterprises, institutions and organizations.

Representatives of local self-government bodies and municipal institutions additionally received certificates from the Ternopil Regional State Administration, the Ternopil Regional Council and letters of appreciation from the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

The Ternopil City Council emphasized that they honored people who, through daily work, activity and responsibility, contribute to the development of the city, its comfort and safety.

It was previously reported that Oleksandr Sienkevych proposed that the residents of Mykolaiv choose the format for celebrating City Day.
