Over the past 24 hours in the Mykolaiv region, 12 fires were extinguished; a man sustained burns
In Novobohdanivka, the fire was prevented from reaching a residential building
At night on 25 July in the village of Novobohdanivka of the Radisnosadivska hromada in Mykolaiv Raion a fire broke out in an outbuilding. A 50-year-old man sustained burns.
The victim was hospitalized.
Rescuers of the State Emergency Service (SES) extinguished the blaze over an area of 30 sq. m and prevented the fire from spreading to the residential house.
Another fire of an outbuilding and dry vegetation was extinguished in the village of Dymivske of the Novoodeska hromada. There the fire did not spread to neighboring buildings.
In total, during the day in Mykolaiv Oblast 12 fires were extinguished, of which 10 were in ecosystems.
In the majority of cases, dry grass, shrubs, crop residues and forest belts were burning.
The State Emergency Service (SES) urged citizens not to burn dry vegetation and to follow fire safety rules.
Rescuers emphasized that even one act of carelessness can lead to a large-scale fire, the destruction of property and injuries to people.
