Left behind at the stop and late for work: residents of the Korabelnyi district complain about the bus

Residents of the Korabelnyi district of Mykolaiv continue to complain about the operation of public transport. Another appeal regarding a municipal bus that allegedly did not stop for passengers was published on July 21, 2026 by Oleksandr P. in the Facebook group “Contact Center at the Mykolaiv City Council”.

According to the author of the appeal, the incident occurred on July 20, 2026 at 06:39 at the stop “Kulbakynskyi turn”. The man claims that an empty bus with license plate ВЕ 7447 ЕХ, which he believes to be a vehicle of route No.1 “Ternivka — plant “Okean”, drove past the people without stopping.

Oleksandr P. asked to check the bus’s GPS tracker data and to identify the driver who was working that morning.

“Complaint about the operation of public transport (route No.1). Today, 20.07.2026, at 06:39 in the morning the municipal bus of route No.1 (Ternivka — plant “Okean”) raced past “Kulbakynskyi turn” without stopping in the direction of the “Okean” plant. The driver ignored the people who were standing at the stop and drove on, leaving passengers out on the street. Because of this, people were late for work. I attach the video recording of the violation to the post. I ask the municipal enterprise “Mykolaivpastrans” and the Transport Department of the Mykolaiv City Council to respond to this systemic violation, identify the driver who was on duty at that time, and hold him accountable for failing to follow the schedule and the carriage rules.”

The emergency response service registered the appeal and forwarded it to the municipal enterprise “Mykolaivpastrans” for action. There is currently no response from the enterprise regarding the circumstances of the incident in the provided information.

In the comments, residents noted that the route number sign might not be visible in the video and suggested that the bus might have been returning to the depot.

“And where do you see that this is route No.1? There is no sign. Maybe it was heading to the depot? And which schedule are you relying on? So according to the schedule the bus had to go and stop? And have you already decided everything or are you giving advice that the driver should be punished, given a talk, shot, crucified and buried?”, – Andriy K.
