The national team's first medal of the season: Mykolaiv gymnast Valeria Peremeta won bronze at the World Cup
Congratulations to Valeria, her mentors, and the national team of Ukraine!
У Milan the final stage of the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup concluded, at which, as part of the Ukrainian national team, a representative of Mykolaiv region Valeria Peremeta competed. The Ukrainian team won bronze medals in the group exercise with three hoops and two pairs of clubs.
The Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration reported the athlete’s achievement on 14 July 2026.
The International Gymnastics Federation’s materials also confirm the holding of the World Cup final stage in Milan on 10–12 July 2026.
Alongside Valeria Peremeta, Ukraine in the group exercises was represented by Polina Horodnycha, Diana Baeva, Taisia Redka and Oleksandra Yushchak. Based on the results of the performance, the Ukrainians took third place and rose to the podium of the final stage of the world tournament.
This bronze medal became the national team’s first medal in group exercises in the 2026 season.
“Congratulations to Valeria, her coaches and the Ukrainian national team! Thank you for the dignified representation of Ukraine and Mykolaiv region on the international stage!”, – the RMA congratulated the athlete and the team.

For Valeria Peremeta, this is not her first success on the international stage. The Mykolaiv athlete is a product of the KDYuSSh “Peremoha” and holds the title of Master of Sport of Ukraine of international class.
