Night with Shahed and day with FPV: Mykolaiv region experienced a day of enemy attacks without casualties
A warehouse caught fire after falling debris: the enemy is once again pressing with drones
In the Mykolaiv region, the past day again passed under attacks by Russian drones. At night the enemy used Shahed-type UAVs across the region, and during the day continued striking coastal communities with FPV drones. This was reported by the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration as of the morning of 6 June, 2026.
According to the Regional Military Administration, as a result of combat operations and falling debris in the Bashtanka district a warehouse facility was damaged. A fire broke out at the site, which rescuers promptly extinguished. There were no casualties from the night attack.
Separately, the Mykolaiv district remained under strikes. Yesterday Russian forces attacked the Ochakiv community six times with FPV drones. According to the Regional Military Administration, people were not harmed.
Despite the absence of injuries, the night Shahed attack and repeated FPV strikes once again show that the Mykolaiv region remains under constant drone pressure from Russian forces. Coastal communities and districts remain particularly vulnerable, where debris from downed or suppressed drones can cause fires and destruction even after the defense forces’ combat operations.
