Korabelnyi District is back on the podium: our tennis players took "bronze" for Ukraine
Female athletes bring home medals, and the authorities must not forget who brings fame to the district
The team KhFSK “Kherson” – KDYuSSh “Peremoha” Mykolaiv – Voznesensk DYUSSh won the bronze medal in the Ukrainian Table Tennis Championship among women’s teams of the Higher League for the 2025/2026 season.
The final round of the competition took place from 14 to 17 May in Ivano-Frankivsk. By the end of the season the team secured 3rd place, performing steadily among the strongest women’s teams of the Higher League.
It is especially pleasing that among the bronze medalists there are athletes from the Korabelnyi District of Mykolaiv — Kira Stryzhykova and Kateryna Dikhtyar.
The team included Ksenia Tymchenko, Anastasia Kafitulova, Veronika Naichuk, Kateryna Dikhtyar, Margarita Todoratieva and Kira Stryzhykova.
The athletes are coached by Tetyana Kuznetsova and Ihor Zubenko.
The Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration’s Department of Youth and Sports congratulated the team and the coaches, thanking them for the worthy representation of the Mykolaiv region at the national level.
