Mykolaiv region was attacked by "Shaheds" and FPV drones: there are wounded in the Halytsynivska community
Two men were injured — ages 51 and 82
As of the morning of May 17, 2026, Russian forces during the day attacked Mykolaiv Oblast with strike unmanned aerial vehicles of the “Shahed 131/136” type and FPV drones.
As a result of the defensive forces’ combat operations and falling debris in the Kutsurub community, the building of a non-operational educational institution was damaged. There were no injuries.
Mykolaiv district was also under attack. During yesterday the enemy attacked the Kutsurub and Halytsynivka communities with FPV drones five times.
During one of the attacks in the Halytsynivka community, two men aged 51 and 82 years were injured.
The 51-year-old injured man was hospitalized. As of the morning, his condition is assessed as moderate, with no deterioration. The 82-year-old man is receiving outpatient treatment.
In addition, a vehicle was damaged as a result of an enemy strike.
