In Mykolaiv after the storm 26 April 2026 tree falls were recorded in various neighborhoods of the city. Our readers report the consequences of the bad weather, and the editorial team of Korabelov.info also recorded some incidents on video.

Several trees were also toppled in the Korabelnyi District. One of them fell on a shop in the Balabanivka neighborhood. Another fell on Bohoyavlenskyi Avenue (on the so-called Shyrokobal stretch), opposite “Nova Poshta”.

In another area, at 15-a Yevhenia Loginova St., a tree fell in such a way that it damaged several structures at once: it crushed cars, tore apart a heating main, and also shattered or damaged people’s windows and balconies.

Residents are outraged that, according to them, appeals to the municipal services to cut down dry trees previously yielded no results.

The problem of hazardous trees is not new for Mykolaiv. After heavy rain and gusts of wind on 15–16 February 2026 the city also recorded a treefall: trees and broken branches fell onto playgrounds, sidewalks and driveways, creating a threat to pedestrians and drivers. At that time dozens of trees were toppled in the city due to the bad weather.

We urge residents to report fallen trees and dangerous branches to the contact center of the Mykolaiv City Council:
