Traffic changes in Mykolaiv during memorial days: how to get to Balabanivske and other cemeteries
How to get to the cemeteries on April 18–19, 2026
On the memorial days, 18 and 19 April 2026, in Mykolaiv public transport will be intensified toward the city cemeteries. Special attention this time was paid to Balabanivka, where additional transport services will be organized for the duration of the memorial visits.
Thus, 19 April bus route No.91 from 09:00 to 15:30 will operate not on its usual route but to the stop “Cemetery” in Balabanivka. This change will be one of the key measures for residents of the neighborhood who plan trips on the memorial day and do not want to travel on foot or with transfers.
In addition, one more bus will be added to route No.46 to reduce the load on transport during this period.
At the same time, other temporary changes have been introduced in the city. In particular, trolleybuses of route No.8 on the Budivelnykiv St. – Matviivka connection will operate on a special schedule to shorten intervals for passengers traveling to Matviivske Cemetery.
Also, 19 April bus route No.79 from 08:00 to 16:00 will operate on a changed route: Varvarivka – pl. Peremohy – Bashtanske Highway – Elektronna St. – Central Cemetery (vul. Avtomobilna) and in the reverse direction. Until 08:00 and after 16:00 buses will operate in the usual mode to Velam. Due to duplication of this route, bus No.48 will not run temporarily on that day.

All the listed changes will be temporary and will apply only on the specified memorial days.
