Comedian and serviceman Artur Petrov was killed in Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi during the evacuation of the wounded
Petrov served in the 43rd Separate Mechanized Brigade and joined the military in April 2023
Ukrainian comedian and serviceman Artur Petrov was killed at the front on March 18, 2026, while evacuating the wounded in Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi.
The loss was reported by Artur’s wife Kateryna, who published a post on Facebook. She noted that the tragedy occurred while carrying out a mission to evacuate wounded fighters.
According to Kateryna, Petrov joined the military in April last year, and in recent months he served in the 43rd separate mechanized brigade.
In her social media message, his wife asked to keep the memory of Artur as the audience knew him:
“When he returns home – I will write about the day of farewell. Please remember him as funny.”
Artur Petrov performed in the “Underground Stand-up” for more than 7 years, and was also a participant in the TV projects “Make the Comedian Laugh”, “GoodnightClub” and “Comedian for a Million”.
Besides the stage, he worked as a screenwriter on the project “I Am Ashamed of My Body”.
