The decision was made by the <strong>High Anti-Corruption Court<\/strong> at a hearing on Friday, <strong>November 6<\/strong>. The general is suspected of involvement in a criminal organization in the <strong>\u201cCarthage\u201d<\/strong> case.<\/p>\n<p>The court set bail at <strong>65 million hryvnias<\/strong>, although the <strong>SAPO<\/strong> prosecutor had requested <strong>100 million hryvnias<\/strong>. If bail is posted, the suspect will be required to comply with the procedural obligations set by the court.<\/p>\n<p>Journalists were unable to attend the hearing in person, where the <strong>HACC<\/strong> considered the preventive measure for the general: they were not allowed into the courtroom. Instead, the hearing was streamed in another room.<\/p>\n<p>Before being dismissed, <strong>Serhii Duka<\/strong> was the first deputy head of the <strong>Department for the Protection of National Statehood<\/strong>. However, after losing the position, he remained in service.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, <strong>Oleksandr Abakumov<\/strong> spoke about the circumstances of the search at <strong>Duka\u2019s<\/strong> premises.
