According to <strong>Mykolaivvodokanal<\/strong>, the water remains safe for residents as long as established standards are met.<\/p>\n<p>To monitor water quality at every stage of supply, the utility\u2019s laboratory tests water daily at <strong>dozens of monitoring points<\/strong>. These are located in all districts of the city, and testing covers both the distribution network and water at end users\u2019 homes.<\/p>\n<p>During disinfection, particular attention is paid to residual chlorine. Its concentration is measured continuously: specialists must ensure there is enough chlorine to kill bacteria while keeping its content safe for people.<\/p>\n<p>The physical and chemical analysis of water includes the following indicators:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>pH level;<\/li>\n<li>turbidity;<\/li>\n<li>color;<\/li>\n<li>content of other substances.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The laboratory also conducts bacteriological tests.
