The state of preparations was discussed at a briefing yesterday, <strong>November 4<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"quote-light\"><p>\u201cAs of today, the district\u2019s overall readiness for the heating season stands at <strong>89%<\/strong>,\u201d said <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/-r78rmzm-Xk?si=HXHnrKS8oRNLo9iF\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Maxym Kashuba<\/a>, head of the <strong>Mykolaiv District Military Administration<\/strong>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The head of the administration also gave figures for individual areas:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>social infrastructure \u2014 <strong>98%<\/strong> ready;<\/li>\n<li>social services \u2014 <strong>95%<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>heat supply \u2014 <strong>88%<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>water supply and sewerage \u2014 <strong>78%<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>roads and bridges \u2014 <strong>86%<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A reserve of more than <strong>1,293 tonnes<\/strong> of alternative fuel has been built up for social service facilities. However, efforts to replenish supplies are still ongoing.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"quote-light\"><p>\u201cThis is about <strong>49%<\/strong> of the total requirement. It includes coal, firewood, pellets, straw, and so on. The collection of this fuel and the signing of the relevant agreements are currently underway,\u201d <strong>Maxym Kashuba<\/strong> explained.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The head of the district administration also said that critical infrastructure, social service and communications facilities are being equipped with generators.<\/p>\n<p>The heating season in the regional centre began on <strong>November 3<\/strong>. Social service facilities, including hospitals and educational institutions, are to receive heat first.
