According to the <strong>Communications Department of the Mykolaiv Regional Police<\/strong>, he was detained immediately after another sale of <strong>cannabis<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>According to investigators, the man processed the drug raw material himself and packaged the ready-to-use <strong>cannabis<\/strong> for sale. His buyers were a small circle of acquaintances: he handed over the drug directly, from hand to hand. Before each meeting, he arranged the time and place of the handover in advance.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators cite <strong>two<\/strong> instances of <strong>cannabis<\/strong> sales, for which the man received <strong>1,800<\/strong> and <strong>3,000 hryvnias<\/strong>, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Authorized searches were conducted both at his registered address and at his actual residence. Police seized:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>about <strong>8 kilograms of cannabis<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>electronic scales;<\/li>\n<li>packaging materials;<\/li>\n<li>mobile phones;<\/li>\n<li>money in Ukrainian and foreign currencies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The detainee was notified of suspicion under <strong>Parts 1, 2, and 3 of Article 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine<\/strong>. The charges cover the illegal production, manufacture, and possession of narcotic drugs for the purpose of sale, as well as their sale, including repeatedly and in especially large quantities.<\/p>\n<p>The court ordered the suspect held in custody, with the option of bail set at <strong>499,200 hryvnias<\/strong>. If convicted, he could face up to <strong>12 years<\/strong> in prison with confiscation of property.<\/p>\n<p>The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
