The <strong>General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine<\/strong> reported the occupiers\u2019 military activity on <strong>November 2<\/strong> in an official statement on <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/zsu.gov.ua\/news\/oleshky-syly-oborony-ukrainy-zabezpechyly-rezhym-tyshi-na-khersonshchyni\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">zsu.gov.ua<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The operation has already ended. The parties temporarily halted hostilities to carry it out. According to the Ukrainian military command, units of the <strong>Ukrainian Defense Forces<\/strong> acted strictly within the terms of the agreements reached and ensured that the ceasefire was observed.<\/p>\n<p>This made it possible to deliver humanitarian supplies to the city as intended. Some residents of <strong>Oleshky<\/strong> who chose to leave were able to return to territory controlled by <strong>Ukraine<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, according to the <strong>General Staff<\/strong>, Russian units not only reinforced their positions but also:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>rotated their units;<\/li>\n<li>expanded road defenses against drones \u2014 a development recorded by Ukrainian forces;<\/li>\n<li>increased logistical support, including by arranging additional ammunition deliveries.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The <strong>US<\/strong> First Lady <strong>Melania Trump<\/strong> issued her first public reaction to the end of the evacuation on <strong>October 31<\/strong>.
