Meanwhile, emergency power cuts were introduced in <strong>Kyiv<\/strong> this morning due to ongoing Russian attacks on energy infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>DTEK<\/strong> company reported the outages in the capital. Energy workers are restoring damaged equipment, but repairs can only be carried out when it is safe to do so. The company assured residents that it is making every effort to restore power to the capital as soon as possible.<\/p>\n<p>The overnight attack also affected other regions of <strong>Ukraine<\/strong>. According to the <strong>Ukrainian Air Force<\/strong>, during the night of <strong>November 1<\/strong>, Russian forces launched <strong>433<\/strong> attack drones from <strong>6<\/strong> directions. The aerial targets included:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Shahed<\/strong>-type drones, including <strong>64<\/strong> jet-powered ones;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Gerbera<\/strong> drones;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Parody<\/strong> decoy drones.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A preliminary count as of <strong>07:30<\/strong> showed that Ukrainian air defenses had shot down or suppressed <strong>371<\/strong> enemy drones, including <strong>47<\/strong> jet-powered <strong>Shaheds<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>According to the <strong>Ukrainian Air Force<\/strong>, the aerial attack weapons struck <strong>16<\/strong> locations. Drone debris and crashed drones were also recorded at <strong>14<\/strong> other locations.<\/p>\n<p>The night passed peacefully in the <strong>Kherson urban territorial community<\/strong>: no reports of Russian strikes or drone attacks were received. No hits on civilian facilities or critical infrastructure were detected, and there were no reports of anyone killed or injured.<\/p>\n<p>The monitoring Telegram channel <strong>\u201cRadar Kherson\u201d<\/strong> reported that no Russian drone activity over the community had been observed during the past day. The situation there was described as calm. The declared ceasefire was to remain in effect until <strong>22:59 on November 1, 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Despite this, the <strong>Kherson City Military Administration<\/strong> warned of possible provocations by Russian forces and urged residents to take extra safety precautions on <strong>November 1<\/strong>. The community\u2019s statement also drew attention to provocative claims in hostile media.
