Prosecutors and law enforcement officers discovered it during a search on <strong>October 30<\/strong>. As part of a criminal investigation, they are looking into the possible embezzlement of public funds by the facility\u2019s officials.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators found areas on the premises where waste generated during the facility\u2019s operations had been buried. The items included:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>used syringes;<\/li>\n<li>blood transfusion systems and tubing;<\/li>\n<li>other medical materials contaminated with blood.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Law enforcement officers are assessing the environmental damage the burials may have caused.
