It now operates automatically, and residents can adjust the temperature in their apartments themselves. Thanks to these changes, the co-owners expect to save <strong>around 40%<\/strong> on heating \u2014 this is a projected, not yet confirmed, saving.<\/p>\n<p>The co-owners began improving the building\u2019s energy efficiency in <strong>2021<\/strong>. In <strong>March 2022<\/strong>, it was damaged by Russian shelling. Modernization resumed in <strong>2024<\/strong> with financial support from the <strong>Energy Efficiency Fund<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Over the past <strong>two years<\/strong>, the following work has been carried out in the building:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>an individual heating substation \u2014 <strong>IHS<\/strong> \u2014 was installed, along with a heat meter;<\/li>\n<li>pipelines were upgraded and insulated, and an automatic heating-system balancing system was introduced;<\/li>\n<li>new pipes were installed in the apartments, along with radiators and individual meters;<\/li>\n<li>the basement was renovated.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>According to the city council, this is currently the <strong>only condominium association<\/strong> in <strong>Mykolaiv<\/strong> with a controller installed to regulate the temperature of the heating medium in the return pipeline.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, the building is being restored under the <strong>\u201cVidnovyDIM\u201d<\/strong> program. The replacement of damaged windows in apartments, as well as windows and doors in common areas, is <strong>90%<\/strong> complete.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/korabelov.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/Telegram_0m8RAjFDJ2.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-631423\" src=\"https:\/\/korabelov.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/Telegram_0m8RAjFDJ2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"614\" height=\"1008\" srcset=\"https:\/\/korabelov.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/Telegram_0m8RAjFDJ2.png 614w, https:\/\/korabelov.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/Telegram_0m8RAjFDJ2-609x999.png 609w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 614px) 100vw, 614px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The co-owners intend to continue making energy-efficiency improvements, but further measures are still under consideration.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"quote-light\"><p>\u201cThe residents are very satisfied. If we get the opportunity, we\u2019ll apply for more programs. We really want to install solar panels and, God willing, perhaps try to insulate the facade of the entire building as well, so we can feel the full benefits of the <strong>IHS<\/strong>,\u201d said <strong>Ihor Molchanitskyi<\/strong>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>To receive partial reimbursement for energy-efficiency improvements, the condominium association submitted a complete set of documents to the commission. The application was filed under the city program <strong>\u201cReform and Development of the Housing and Utility Sector of Mykolaiv for 2025\u20132029\u201d<\/strong>.
