The driver admitted that he had bought the plates through social media, hoping to avoid automated speeding enforcement.<\/p>\n<p>The inspection was prompted by the car\u2019s appearance near a <strong>territorial recruitment and social support center (TRC and SP)<\/strong>. Photos of the vehicle sparked discussion on social media.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Military Law and Order Service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (MLOS)<\/strong> located the vehicle and detained it to establish the circumstances. The driver was an active service member\u2014a soldier <strong>born in 1990<\/strong> who serves as a sapper in a combat unit.<\/p>\n<p>The man said he had bought the car on the secondary market. According to him, he paid for the <strong>Tesla<\/strong> with his own money, including payments he received for participating in combat operations.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Khmelnytskyi Regional Patrol Police<\/strong> drew up reports concerning the violations found:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>use of illegally installed <strong>Armed Forces of Ukraine<\/strong> license plates\u2014the <strong>MLOS<\/strong> confirmed that they had been installed unlawfully;<\/li>\n<li>failure to have the vehicle\u2019s registration documents.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The service member admitted that his actions were unlawful and expressed remorse. After reviewing the case, he was held administratively liable under <strong>Part 2 of Article 126 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses<\/strong> and fined.<\/p>\n<p>The involvement of <strong>TRC and SP<\/strong> officials with the vehicle was not confirmed.<\/p>\n<p>It was also emphasized that military service and achievements do not exempt anyone from the obligation to comply with the law.
