And even then, repairs are not guaranteed.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Residents of buildings <strong>No. 107 and No. 109<\/strong> on Oleh Olzhych Street in <strong>Mykolaiv\u2019s Korabelnyi District<\/strong> have once again complained about the severely damaged road they are forced to walk and drive on every day. According to them, there has been no proper road surface here for more than <strong>25 years<\/strong>. After a video appeal was published, the district administration acknowledged the poor condition of the access road and said that major repairs would cost approximately <strong>UAH 4,216,000<\/strong>. However, no work is planned for <strong>2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>A video submitted to the <strong>Korabelov.info<\/strong> editorial team by local residents shows a damaged road surface with numerous potholes, uneven areas, and stretches of crumbling asphalt.<\/p>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/telegram.org\/js\/telegram-widget.js?22\" data-telegram-post=\"korabelov_info\/130275\" data-width=\"100%\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>The authors of the appeal emphasize that when it rains, it is practically impossible to walk or drive along this road. Getting around is especially difficult for parents with young children and older people. Residents say they have repeatedly tried to draw the city authorities\u2019 attention to the problem, but have yet to see any meaningful results.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>More than UAH 4 million for repairs: the administration\u2019s response<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Following another appeal from residents, an official response from the Administration of Mykolaiv City Council\u2019s Korabelnyi District appeared in the comments on the Operational Response Service page. It stated that the appeal was registered on <strong>October 21, 2026<\/strong>, under <strong>No. 70896<\/strong>. Administration representatives inspected the area and confirmed that major repairs were needed.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"quote-light\"><p>&#8220;In response to appeal <strong>No. 70896 dated October 21, 2026<\/strong>, the Administration of Mykolaiv City Council\u2019s Korabelnyi District reports: Following an inspection, it was established that the access road within the residential block, from Oleh Olzhych Street to buildings <strong>No. 107<\/strong> and <strong>No. 109<\/strong>, as well as the area inside the courtyard, are in poor technical condition and require major repairs covering an area of <strong>1,240 sq. m<\/strong>. The estimated cost of the repair work at this year\u2019s prices is <strong>UAH 4,216,000<\/strong>. As the financial year is coming to an end, it is not possible to carry out the repairs in <strong>2026<\/strong>. The matter will remain on the Korabelnyi District Administration\u2019s register and will be reconsidered when the work plan for <strong>2027<\/strong> is drawn up, provided sufficient funding is available. The matter will remain under additional monitoring until <strong>May 1, 2027<\/strong>.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Thus, the administration has officially confirmed that <strong>1,240 square meters<\/strong> of the access road within the residential block need repairs, but has not specified when the work will begin.<\/p>\n<p>Importantly, the officials\u2019 response does not present <strong>2027<\/strong> as a guaranteed deadline for the repairs. It only says the matter will be reconsidered when the work plan is drawn up\u2014and only if sufficient funding is available.<\/p>\n<p>The additional monitoring deadline of <strong>May 1, 2027<\/strong> also does not mean the road will be repaired by that date.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Repairs were already reported as complete.
