According to the complainant, an unknown man knocked him to the ground, took his backpack containing personal belongings, and fled in an unknown direction.<\/p>\n<p>Officers and an investigative team from <strong>Police Department No. 3 of the Mykolaiv District Police Department<\/strong> responded to the call. During initial investigative and search measures, police found the complainant\u2019s belongings near the scene of the robbery.<\/p>\n<p>Specialists from the <strong>Criminal Analysis Department of the regional police headquarters<\/strong> joined efforts to identify the attacker. Law enforcement officers established that the crime involved a <strong>26-year-old<\/strong> local resident. He had previously served time for property crimes.<\/p>\n<p>Officers tracked down the man within <strong>24 hours<\/strong>: he was hiding from law enforcement in a makeshift shelter in a wooded area. Police formally detained him.<\/p>\n<p>Under the procedural supervision of the prosecutor\u2019s office, investigators notified the detainee that he was suspected of committing robbery under <strong>Part 4 of Article 186 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine<\/strong>\u2014robbery committed under martial law. He faces up to <strong>ten years<\/strong> in prison.<\/p>\n<p>The court is expected to determine a preventive measure for the suspect soon.
