The situation was reported by <strong>Anna Nerush<\/strong>, a representative of the <strong>Commissioner for the Protection of the State Language<\/strong>. According to <a href=\"https:\/\/facebook.com\/neranna\/posts\/pfbid02tRjLBomoZXWpJocFi2Gjj27zJUsmTYgcArDGn3fFvs5exaZSzUFEBCyPZbZ2Zarhl?rdid=WCl6DaQLtDIL2uqr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">facebook.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The inspection was prompted by visitors\u2019 complaints about announcements in Russian. The complaints were submitted several weeks apart, and visitors provided audio and video recordings as evidence.<\/p>\n<p>The language ombudsperson had <strong>twice<\/strong> officially contacted the cable car\u2019s administration to request an explanation. However, the deadline for a response passed without one. For failing to comply with the ombudsperson\u2019s requirements for a second time, the cable car was <strong>issued a protocol for the second time<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Service providers have been required to communicate with customers in Ukrainian since <strong>January 16, 2021<\/strong>.
