The city would only have to cover their delivery costs. Mayor <strong>Oleksandr Sienkevych<\/strong> announced the possibility on <strong>October 23<\/strong>. According to <a href=\"https:\/\/mkrada.gov.ua\/news\/26307.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">mkrada.gov.ua<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>According to the mayor, the current agreements were preceded by lengthy correspondence, negotiations, and discussions of technical issues. However, several steps still need to be completed before the trams can be transferred:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>obtain approval from the transport company;<\/li>\n<li>sign agreements between the companies;<\/li>\n<li>complete the remaining required procedures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote class=\"quote-light\"><p>\u201cFor the city, this is an opportunity to add modern, low-floor tram cars to its fleet, making boarding and alighting more convenient for passengers, including older people, parents with strollers, and people with disabilities,\u201d Mayor <strong>Oleksandr Sienkevych<\/strong> explained.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>At the same time, the city is preparing to cooperate with the Swedish city of <strong>Gothenburg<\/strong>. As the mayor noted, this work is already nearing its final stage.
