The addition to the fleet is expected to help municipal workers carry out day-to-day tasks faster and respond more promptly to the city\u2019s needs.<\/p>\n<p>The vehicles will be handed over to the following municipal enterprises:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Mykolaiv Parks<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li><strong>DEZ Pilot<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Each vehicle has a double cab with <strong>6 seats<\/strong> and a flatbed with a tarpaulin cover. This will allow a repair crew to travel together with their tools and the necessary materials. The trucks are equipped with diesel engines and have a payload capacity of <strong>1.35 tonnes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The assistance was provided through the project <strong>\u201cPartnership for the Safety and Resilience of Communities in Mykolaiv, Ukraine\u201d<\/strong>. Responsibilities for its implementation are divided as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS)<\/strong> is implementing the project under the <strong>Ukrainian Transition Program<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>the government of <strong>Denmark<\/strong> is providing financial support;<\/li>\n<li>the <strong>Mykolaiv Development Agency<\/strong> is coordinating the project on behalf of the city.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The trucks were handed over to the city by representatives of the Danish Embassy:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Anna Maria Madsen<\/strong> \u2014 Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of <strong>Denmark<\/strong> in <strong>Ukraine<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Viktor J\u00f8rgen Blikfeldt<\/strong> \u2014 Head of the <strong>Danish<\/strong> Embassy Office in <strong>Mykolaiv<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote class=\"quote-light\"><p>\u201cThis is my first visit to <strong>Mykolaiv<\/strong>. Although we have met before, it is a special pleasure for me to meet here. I hope these trucks will be useful to you,\u201d said <strong>Anna Maria Madsen<\/strong>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote class=\"quote-light\"><p>\u201cWe are very pleased to provide this equipment at the city\u2019s request, to support municipal enterprises and their work in <strong>Mykolaiv<\/strong>.
