The damage caused to the state exceeds <strong>1.2 million hryvnias<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>According to the <strong>State Environmental Inspectorate of the Southwestern District<\/strong>, inspectors from <strong>PEC No. 2<\/strong> found that the following trees had been illegally felled in the forest belts:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>29 oaks<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li><strong>34 ash trees<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For <strong>both<\/strong> incidents, the <strong>Environmental Inspectorate<\/strong> sent notices of possible criminal offenses to the <strong>Pervomaisk District Prosecutor\u2019s Office<\/strong>. The reports were filed in accordance with <strong>Article 214 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The prosecutor\u2019s office reported that criminal proceedings had been initiated on suspicion of an offense under <strong>Part 4 of Article 246 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine<\/strong>. This article concerns illegal logging, as well as the illegal transportation, storage, and sale of timber where the qualifying circumstances specified by law are present.<\/p>\n<p><div id='gallery-1'
