Apartment buildings were damaged in the <strong>Inhulskyi district<\/strong>, and three cars were destroyed by fire. A <strong>77-year-old woman<\/strong> was injured. Suspilne correspondents <a href=\"https:\/\/suspilne.media\/mykolaiv\/1431885-na-mene-letilo-vse-bulo-zarevo-meskanci-poskodzenogo-budinku-v-mikolaevi-rozpovili-pro-ataku-na-misto\/\">spoke<\/a> with eyewitnesses about the attack, the condition of the building\u2019s residents, and the aftermath of the shelling.<\/p>\n<p>Residents of the damaged apartments were particularly affected by the strike: <strong>the blast wave shattered windows, damaged balconies, and caused extensive destruction<\/strong>. The windows in her apartment were shattered and the balcony structures damaged.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"quote-light\"><p>\u201cEverything that could fly was coming at me, and there was a glow \u2014 that\u2019s all I saw. I ran into the hallway. Fourth floor, look \u2014 the window, the balcony, and there, the metal structures. It was glazed, with double-glazed windows \u2014 everything went flying,\u201d the woman said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Another resident, <strong>Liudmyla<\/strong>, was also asleep when the blast shattered the glass in her room. Dust filled the apartment after the strike, and the woman says she could barely recover from the terror she had experienced.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"quote-light\"><p>\u201cI was sleeping in this room where the glass blew out. I don\u2019t know, it\u2019s some kind of miracle that I wasn\u2019t injured or killed. I ran straight into the hallway, and then panic set in. Cars were burning, there were explosions,\u201d the woman says.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Another local resident, <strong>Alina<\/strong>, said she was overcome with fear and panic after the strike. Her Nissan X-Trail <strong>burned down<\/strong>, and her balcony and room were also damaged.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"quote-light\"><p>\u201cAt once, there was fear and panic, and we breathed in all sorts of exhaust fumes.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The woman says her car was badly damaged and that the shelling was a traumatic ordeal for residents of the district.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"quote-light\"><p>\u201cThe balcony, the room, the Nissan X-Trail \u2014 it\u2019s the second time it\u2019s been hit. Now the glass, doors, locks, bumper \u2014 basically, it\u2019s completely wrecked. It\u2019s such a shame. I wish this would all end soon, because people are under a lot of stress,\u201d <strong>Alina<\/strong> said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>According to <strong>Oleksandr Herasimenia<\/strong>, an adviser to the mayor, the attack on the city took place at around 1 a.m. At one location, <strong>five five-story buildings were damaged<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"quote-light\"><p>\u201cAt one location, five five-story buildings were damaged. Mainly, windows were shattered, and the roof and doors were damaged. Three cars burned down,\u201d the adviser said.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>According to available information, <strong>a 77-year-old woman was injured<\/strong> in the overnight attack and received medical assistance at the scene.
