The <strong>Pension Fund of Ukraine<\/strong> will do this automatically for most recipients, but some people will need to submit a new application and income declaration.<\/p>\n<p>Households that have already received assistance do not need to apply again if their household composition, financial circumstances, and other factors affecting their eligibility for a subsidy have not changed.<\/p>\n<p>An application and declaration are required for those who:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>are applying for a housing subsidy for the first time;<\/li>\n<li>were denied assistance for the non-heating season;<\/li>\n<li>have had changes in circumstances that may affect their eligibility for a payment or its amount.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For subsidy calculations, the heating season runs from <strong>October 16<\/strong> through <strong>April 15<\/strong>, inclusive. The October payment will cover the period from <strong>October 16 to 31<\/strong> \u2014 <strong>16 days<\/strong> in total. The actual date heating is turned on in a particular building does not affect this calculation.
