That is <strong>87<\/strong> more than the previous year.<\/p>\n<p>As of <strong>October 1, 2026<\/strong>, residents of the region had submitted a total of <strong>2,900 tax returns<\/strong> reporting their assets and income received in <strong>2025<\/strong>. These were citizens required to file under the <strong>Tax Code of Ukraine<\/strong>. By submitting their returns, they fulfilled their constitutional duty.<\/p>\n<p>The returns listed the following amounts of income and tax liabilities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Total income \u2014 <strong>UAH 8 billion 947.3 million<\/strong>, exceeding the <strong>2025<\/strong> figure by <strong>UAH 4.4 billion<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Personal income tax due to the budget \u2014 <strong>UAH 599.7 million<\/strong>. Compared with the same period last year, this amount increased by <strong>UAH 432.9 million<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Military levy due \u2014 almost <strong>UAH 156 million<\/strong>, or <strong>UAH 142.2 million<\/strong> more than during the same period last year.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Citizens most commonly declared income from the following sources:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>income from abroad;<\/li>\n<li>the sale of movable and immovable property;<\/li>\n<li>investment profits.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In addition to declaring income and paying taxes, citizens are entitled to a tax rebate. It allows them to reclaim part of the personal income tax withheld from their salary during the reporting year.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1,188 residents of Mykolaiv Oblast<\/strong> have already claimed this benefit.
