What the State Audit Service uncovered"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>For <strong>January\u2013September 2026<\/strong>, auditors identified violations in the <strong>Mykolaiv region<\/strong> that resulted in the loss of financial and material resources worth more than <strong>UAH 357.5 million<\/strong>. <strong>UAH 112.5 million<\/strong> was recovered. These results were reported by the <strong>Mykolaiv Regional Office of the Southern Office of the State Audit Service of Ukraine<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>During this period, specialists examined the use of resources worth a total of <strong>UAH 14.5 billion<\/strong>. In total, they carried out <strong>317 audits<\/strong>, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>15 financial inspections<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li><strong>3 state financial audits<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li><strong>288 procurement monitoring procedures<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li><strong>11 procurement inspections<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In public procurement, violations totaling <strong>UAH 1.3 billion<\/strong> were identified separately. Following the monitoring, contracting authorities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>cancelled <strong>15 tenders<\/strong> worth a total of <strong>UAH 181.8 million<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>terminated <strong>36 contracts<\/strong> worth <strong>UAH 93.6 million<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To ensure recovery of the identified losses, the inspection materials were handed over to law enforcement agencies. They served as grounds for opening <strong>10 pre-trial investigations<\/strong>. Another <strong>7 sets of materials<\/strong> were added to criminal proceedings that were already underway.<\/p>\n<p>Separately, specialists from the <strong>State Audit Service<\/strong> took part in inspections requested by law enforcement as part of criminal investigations. These inspections revealed violations that resulted in losses of almost <strong>UAH 283 million<\/strong>.
