Citizens reported the accident to the police on the evening of <strong>October 12<\/strong>, at around <strong>9:30 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The crash occurred on the <strong>T-15-13 \u201cNechaiane\u2013Kamianka\u2013Ochakiv\u201d<\/strong> road. Police at the scene determined that the <strong>37-year-old<\/strong> driver had lost control. The car left the roadway and crashed into a tree.<\/p>\n<p>The impact split the car in half, after which it partially caught fire. The driver and his passenger, who was also <strong>37 years old<\/strong>, died of their injuries at the scene.<\/p>\n<p>The vehicle fire following the crash in the <strong>Chornomorska community<\/strong> has already <a href=\"https:\/\/korabelov.info\/en\/2026\/10\/625469\/three-people-rescued-from-a-fire-in-mykolaiv-ses-report-for-the-day\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">been included in the <strong>State Emergency Service<\/strong>\u2019s daily report<\/a>. The police update provides details about the collision and the victims.<\/p>\n<p>Police are continuing to establish all the circumstances and causes of the crash. Investigators have preliminarily classified the incident under <strong>Part 3 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine<\/strong> \u2014 violation of road safety rules or vehicle operation rules by persons driving vehicles, resulting in the deaths of several people.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Transport Crimes Investigation Unit of the Investigative Department<\/strong> is asking witnesses to the crash and anyone with information about the circumstances to come forward.
