At the same time, representatives of <strong>Kyiv<\/strong> indicated they were ready to consider a mutual halt to strikes on energy infrastructure, provided that <strong>Russia<\/strong> agreed to abide by similar restrictions.<\/p>\n<p>During the talks, the Ukrainian delegation was told that <strong>Moscow<\/strong> was not yet showing readiness to reach an agreement. The message came from representatives of U.S. President <strong>Donald Trump<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Steve Witkoff<\/strong> \u2014 the U.S. president\u2019s special envoy;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Jared Kushner<\/strong> \u2014 <strong>Donald Trump<\/strong>\u2019s son-in-law.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Security guarantees for <strong>Ukraine<\/strong> were among the topics discussed at the meeting.
