These figures were given by former head of the <strong>State Agency for Restoration and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine<\/strong> <strong>Serhii Sukhomlyn<\/strong>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pravda.com.ua\/rus\/articles\/2026\/10\/12\/8057504\/\">commenting<\/a> on the agency\u2019s performance.<\/p>\n<p>The project saved around <strong>UAH 2.3 billion<\/strong>. At the same time, the former agency head stressed that the lower costs did not mean abandoning additional infrastructure elements: the estimate included both protection measures and backup power sources for the pumping stations.<\/p>\n<p>The construction cost included:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>anti-drone protection for underground pumping stations;<\/li>\n<li>construction of solar power plants near each of these stations;<\/li>\n<li>other work \u043f\u0440\u0435\u0434\u0443\u0441\u043c\u043e\u0442\u0440ed by the project.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Overall, the state budget saved <strong>UAH 13 billion<\/strong> across various projects last year, <strong>Sukhomlyn<\/strong> said. He attributed this result to a more efficient approach to the use of public funds.
