The strike damaged the premises of a cargo terminal. Employees were in shelters during the attack and were unharmed. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/mk.npu.gov.ua\/news\/u-mykolaievi-politseiski-vyluchaiut-rechovi-dokazy-ta-dokumentuiut-cherhovi-voienni-zlochyny-rf\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Mykolaiv Regional Police<\/a><\/strong> is documenting the aftermath of the shelling as part of a war crimes investigation.<\/p>\n<p>Firefighters extinguished the blaze at the site of the strike. Specialists from the <strong>Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit of the Regional Police Headquarters<\/strong> inspected the damaged premises, recovered hazardous fragments of the <strong>UAV<\/strong>, and prepared them for safe transportation.<\/p>\n<p>The following teams are involved in documenting the aftermath of the attack:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>investigators from the <strong>Armed Conflict Crimes Investigation Unit of the Investigative Department<\/strong>;<\/li>\n<li>forensic specialists;<\/li>\n<li>investigators and operational officers from <strong>Police Station No. 1 of the Mykolaiv District Police Department<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>They are interviewing witnesses to the shelling and collecting and seizing physical evidence. The pre-trial investigation is ongoing under <strong>Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Police urge residents to take care of their safety and remain in shelters until the all-clear is announced. They also remind residents not to approach suspicious objects or touch debris.
